There's a moment I'll never forget. Standing there, mid-meeting, my body doing exactly what I hadn't planned for -and me, powerless to stop it.
I'd been through the unpredictability of perimenopause. The hormonal shifts, the irregular cycles, the quiet indignity of never quite feeling in control of my own body. And I was done with it.
So I did what I've always done. I designed my way out of the problem.
The Gap I Couldn't Ignore
Shapewear has always promised confidence. But for women like me - navigating perimenopause, menopause, or simply the reality of a monthly cycle - it offered a cruel trade-off: look great, feel exposed.
I searched everywhere for something better. One garment. Full protection. Zero compromise.
It didn't exist. So I made it.
Built From Lived Experience
Calm Curve wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born from frustration, from necessity, and honestly - from a little bit of rage that no one had solved this yet.
Every design decision I made, from the breathable fabrics to the built-in absorbency, came from my own experience of needing exactly this product and coming up empty.
The result is shapewear that works as hard as you do, across every day of your cycle:
- Light days → Freya has you covered
- Medium flow → Oshun keeps you confident
- Heavy days → Aphrodite holds its own
This Is Personal
I'm not just the founder of Calm Curve. I'm the customer who needed it most.
And if you've ever stood in a change room, or sat through a meeting, or gone about your day quietly managing what your body throws at you - I made this for you.
Because you deserve to feel confident. Every single day. Not just the easy ones.
